24 Weeks

So....This past Friday we made it to our 24 week mark. A huge milestone in our pregnancy.  Our little girls can now survive life outside of the womb.  As much as we want to see them, we will wait a few more months until they are bigger and stronger.  Our next big marker will be 30 weeks. Until then, Amanda is taking it easy, resting when she gets home, putting her feet up.  Her ankles are starting to get a wee bit puffy in the evenings when she gets home, mostly do to getting bigger and the dang arkansas heat.  She is doing a water aerobics class called aqua moms on mondays and wednesdays over at baptist hospital and is really enjoying it.

Last Thursday we went to our OBGYN Doc and got to hear our girls heartbeats again. Baby A was in the 150's and baby B was in the 140's.  We are actually starting to go every 2 weeks to her now so she can keep an eye on everything.  We have an appt. this Wednesday with BabyViews in little rock for our 4D ultrasound. We can't wait!  Then, we get to turn around and see the babies again the next day for another formal ultrasound to check and see how they're growing.

We have officially decided on the names I do believe.  We have gone with Davin Kate and Emma Grace. Davin Kate is a mixture of our Dads names. Both of our dads are named David, and now that amandas dad passed away it's really important that we incorporate that into one of our kids names.  The middle name, Kate, is short for my middle name of Katherine.  My mom and dad always called me Kate or Katy growing up.  Emma was for my great aunt Emma on my dads side, and Grace, for my great grandmother Gracie on my moms side.
